Today, on 25/10/23, Motherhood University hosted a one-day workshop on the topic of how to save a person’s life in emergency situations. The formal inauguration of the workshop was conducted by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Narendra Sharma, Mr. Deepak Sharma (Director of Administration), and Dr. Anuj Sharma (Dean of Student Welfare), who collectively lit a ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati.
Following this, Dr. Anuj Sharma (Dean of Student Welfare) welcomed the keynote speaker, Mr. Anil Saini, by presenting him with a floral bouquet.
In the program, the keynote speaker, Mr. Anil Saini, addressed the teachers and explained how we can assist a person in saving their life during emergencies such as heart attacks or road accidents. He emphasized the importance of primary measures like providing CPR to save a person’s life, and how such acts of social service are no less than divine blessings.
Mr. Anil Saini, a former Brigadier Commander and Brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand State, is well-known as a Safety Expert and has worked with the World Health Organization. He has delivered lectures on safety in various renowned companies across India. Mr. Saini also works for the Uttarakhand Police and disaster management.
At the end of the program, the Vice-Chancellor addressed all the participants, expressing that such workshops will be organized at regular intervals. He emphasized that saving someone’s life is undoubtedly a virtuous and humanitarian act.
