MOTHERHOOD UNIVERSITY ROORKEE
(A University recognized by UGC with the right to award degrees u/s 22(1)
of the UGC Act 1956 and established under Uttarakhand Govt. Act 05 of 2015)
1. General
1.1- These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern all online payments made through the Motherhood University Roorkee payment gateway.
1.2- By proceeding with an online payment, you agree to abide by these T&C in full.
1.3- Motherhood University reserves the right to modify or update these T&C at any time without prior notice.
2. Payment Gateway Services
2.1- The University provides an online payment facility for convenience in fee payments, registration charges, examination fees, event fees, and other university-related payments. 2.2- Payments can be made using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets, or other modes as permitted by the payment gateway provider.
2.3- All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) only.
3. User Responsibility
3.1– Students/Parents/Applicants must provide accurate details including Enrollment Number, Name, Course, and Contact Information while making payments.
3.2- Users are advised to note down the Transaction Reference Number and
download/take a screenshot of the payment receipt for future reference.
3.3- The University will not be responsible for payments made to the wrong account due to incorrect details provided by the user.
4. Transaction Confirmation & Reconciliation
4.1- A transaction is considered successful only after it has been approved by the bank/payment gateway and reflected in the University’s account.
4.2- If the University’s records do not match with user-provided transaction details, the payment will be treated as invalid until reconciliation is completed.
4.3- Users are requested to allow up to 48 hours for payment confirmation in university records.
5. Failed / Pending Transactions
5.1- In case of a failed transaction, the amount (if debited) will normally be refunded by the respective bank/payment gateway to the same source account within 7–10 working days. 5.2- The University is not responsible for delays/refunds caused by the bank, payment gateway, or technical issues beyond its control.
5.3- Users must contact their bank / payment provider directly for failed or duplicate transactions.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
6.1- All fee payments to the University are non-refundable unless otherwise specified under the University’s Fee Refund Policy.
6.2- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only after approval from the competent authority and may take up to 15 working days to reflect in the user’s account.
6.3- Any convenience fee/transaction charges charged by the payment gateway or bank are non-refundable.
7. Security
7.1– The University’s payment gateway is PCI-DSS compliant and uses encryption to protect sensitive information.
7.2-The University does not capture or store full card/bank details; such information is handled directly by the secure payment gateway.
7.3- Users are advised not to share their login credentials, OTP, or banking details with anyone.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1- The University shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from payment failures, delays, or misuse of payment information. 8.2- The responsibility of using the correct payment option lies solely with the payer.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1- Any disputes related to payments must be reported to the Accounts Department at Motherhood University within 7 working days of the transaction.

10. Governing Law
10.1- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
10.2– Jurisdiction for all disputes shall lie exclusively with the competent courts at
Roorkee, District Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
